I have yet to find the perfect statement piece to go above my sofa, so for the time being I’m filling the space with a series of 6 IKEA Ribba framesΒ with whatever prints suit my fancy.
I thought it would be fun to add a little subdued Christmas cheer to the gallery wall so I downloaded 6 botanical prints of pine, berries, and greenery from this free online libraryΒ and ordered 8×10 prints from Costco’s Photo CenterΒ for a total cost of $11.94. Pretty thriftyΒ if I do say so myself.
Now, what to do on the sides of the gallery wall…Β I love the idea of flankingΒ a set of 4Β mounted antlers and miniΒ bay leafΒ wreathsΒ to the sides of the wallΒ like Erin did here. The holiday budget does not permit it this year but it certainly is fun to scheme.
HereΒ are the free downloadable jpegs (just click “Save Image As”) so that you can make your own prints. Also want to note that I did have to crop the images a little to get them to fit into an 8″x10″ template.
