My sweet little Oliver will be 10 months old this week and it’s true when they say that time flies by so fast. I feel like just yesterday I brought home my bundle from the hospital, and now I have this little sack of potatoes that’s babbling and cruising furniture and shoving raspberries into his mouth. His new tricks are doing “So Big” with his arms and pointing to our noses when we ask where mommy and daddy’s noses are. Over the weekend we borrowed a baby walker from a friend andΒ he proceeded to do laps up and down the hallway which caused my heart to explode from my chest. He’s a very squirmy little guy and does not like to sit or lie still for more than 3 seconds so changing his diaper can beΒ quite the challenge. His favorite thing to do is to roll over naked on the changing table, waveΒ his diapers around in the air, then hurl them allΒ onto the ground. :) Oh but once he gets tired, MAN is he an expert snuggler and neck-nuzzler. He loves sucking on his two fingers so we’ll see how long that lasts before I have to start limiting it. His body type is starting to emerge and you can tell that he’s going to have long lanky arms and legs like his dad. I feed him any and all types of food, and we’re still nursing. In general he makesΒ a huge mess anywhere he goes and I secretly wish I could install an enormous soak bucket in my house, kind of like you see in commercial kitchens, where I could just quickly dump the baby to give him a littleΒ pre-wash before moving on to the next activity, hah!
He is such a perfect little bubba and there is not one thing I would ever change about him. I am so grateful that he isΒ a happy and healthy little man. It really is the greatest gift in the world!
xx,
